You ( I mean bikers ) probably know that how it feels to stop or slow down the speed of your bike as you just started to feel the thrill of the speed, and this is all because you don't know which way to go. Finally you have to stop for a while and ask someone which way is correct, or take out your phone and check the direction on your GPS. That makes you feel awkward.
But not any more, because Skully has taken a new step further in what your helmet can do. Skully is an android powered, and Bluetooth linked helmet. In this helmet there is a display that show bike rider the directions, and that display is located to the right of the riders cheek. This helmet not only shows the directions and route, it also shows weather and some basic information.
As Skully is android powered, you can easily synchronize it with your android smartphone. You might be thinking that how to operate this helmet??? Don't worry, it takes voice commands to operate. You can also play/pause/skip music, make calls.
One of the important features it has is that a 180 degree rear view camera which gives you a clear view of your back and side so that you don't have look in your side mirrors anymore. The arrangement of this system is made in such a way that it will not distract the riders attention from the road at all.
This all seems very good but the rider safety is the primary aim of this helmet. And for this it comes with double visor and anti-fog visor. The anti-fog visor lens is glare, fog and scratch resistant. Optically correct and lockable.
With all these features, battery lifetime issue arises. According to Skully, the battery of the helmet can last for 9 hours of continuous uses. A normal USB charger can be used to charge the helmet battery. The concept itself will make it popular among bikers.
